Kindness, wildflowers and an anxiety retreat

' Create a safe space within that you can retreat to whenever things feel scary. Fill it with every bit of kindness you can and nurture it with every bit of love you have. Let it grow and tend to it often. When nothing else makes sense, find your way home to this place to reaffirm how right you really are . . . '

' Things that give me strength are always simple in nature and kind in spirit '
*

' Listen out for the gentle voice within that asks only that you be kind to yourself '
*

' What do kindness, wildflowers, and inspirational quotes share in common you may ponder . . . Well. . .they mean you no harm and when things get a little too much - that is the safety we all need to believe in. '

It can be tough to feel safe even within yourself when an anxiety attack strikes. Even living daily with a mind that is poorly can leave you doubting the simplest of things. But, taking a moment to notice how self kindness truly feels, is like receiving a comforting hand to hold from someone who truly understands. We all just want to feel okay about everything don't we? And I think kindness is the way we get to that. . . With ourselves and each other.

A little time in Nature works many simple wonders too. Find your retreat. Xx
